Totó la Momposina's first international album, recorded in France after she performed in Stockholm at Gabriel García Márquez's 1982 Nobel Prize ceremony. Released on Auvidis (1984), this introduced Afro-Colombian cumbia, porro, and mapalé to European audiences. The Vinyl Factory calls her 'the Queen of Cumbia'. Soon to be reissued on vinyl.
