Curator Review & Historical Significance

Before she was the Queen of Tejano, Selena Quintanilla was a teenager fronting her family band on the South Texas circuit. This early recording captures the raw talent that would make her a legend. The cumbia rhythms are already there · joyful, unstoppable, and completely her own. An essential piece of Tejano history and a must-have for any Selena collector.
